The GW31-E Outdoor Wi-Fi Gateway makes it simple to deploy Verkada anywhere with power and Wi-Fi, including hard towire locations such as parking lots, fence lines, and outdoor premises. This allows for cost-effective perimeter deployments as organizations can avoid trenching cable and recurring costs for cellular data.

The Wi-Fi gateway is purpose-built for Verkada deployments. The IP66-rated device easily mounts to a pole or wall, works with a wide range of power sources, and has a built-in PoE switch to power downstream devices. And through the cloudbased Command platform, organizations can easily manage and troubleshoot the gateway as well as any connected devices from anywhere.

The GW31-E is the easy button for securing perimeter locations. Easily install the gateway outdoors without a NEMA box and tap into power from AC receptacles, light poles, or solar/batteries. For longer range deployments, opt for Verkada’s directional Wi-Fi antenna to boost signal strength when connecting to APs at a distance.

The gateway can directly power two connected devices, eliminating the need for a PoE switch. It can even support a PoE++ device like the CH52-E Multisensor or CP52-E PTZ, allowing for 360° coverage from a single install point.

Key Features

• Designed for outdoor installs - The GW31-E works with nearly any power source, including AC receptacles, solar/batteries, or streetlights, and can be deployed outdoors without a NEMA box.
• Built-in PoE switch - With dual PoE outputs capable of supplying 60W total, the GW31-E can directly power up to two connected devices without a switch.
• Cloud-managed - Set up and manage the GW31-E in Command from any device and any location. Run diagnostics, monitor data and power usage, and receive alerts if connectivity is lost.
• Remote troubleshooting - Remotely power cycle the GW31-E and any connected devices via Command. If the gateway itself is offline, it will automatically power cycle itself after 30 minutes.
