The MXWAPXD2 from Shure is the multifunction base unit at the heart of the MXW neXt 2 wireless conferencing system for classrooms, conference spaces, and presentations. This expandable two-channel hybrid system offers a wealth of connectivity options that allow for a mixture of local and remote participants and features a host of built-in DSP functions that provide clear, intelligible audio, ensuring everybody gets heard. The transceiver works with an array of bodypack, handheld, and boundary microphone transmitters (available separately), allowing you to mix and match the components that best suit your needs.

Analog, Dante, and USB-C interfaces make it simple to connect to a computer, sound system, and videoconferencing codec.
  • The system allows you to adapt to the needs of different rooms and route microphone audio to remote participants, room loudspeakers, or both, so everyone hears what they need to hear clearly and intelligibly.
  • With its integrated design, the MXW neXt 2 system sets up in just a few minutes, for portable meetings or permanent installations; Automatic Wireless Frequency Management finds open channels and avoids interference automatically.
  • Choose among a variety of separately available microphone transmitter options to suit your needs including the MXWX1 bodypack transmitter, the MXWX6 tabletop boundary mic, or the MXWX2 handheld transmitter with various microphone capsules such as the SM58, Beta 58A, SM86, and VP68.
