Fortinet FortiGate 70G Security Appliance

By integrating a firewall, SD-WAN, and AI-powered security features into one device, the compact FortiGate 70G from Fortinet helps you to build secure networks at distributed enterprise sites.

The FortiGate 70G is designed to support up to 2.5 Gb/s IPS and 1.5 Gb/s Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) throughput, working with the Fortinet Security Fabric platform and FortiGuard AI-Powered Security Services for 1.3 Gb/s threat protection throughput. Supporting Gigabit speeds, there are two dedicated WAN ports and six LAN ports for local devices. The two Gigabit-speed RJ45 FortiLink ports can extend your firewall to FortiSwitch devices.

Hardware Trusted Platform Module (TPM)

A dedicated module hardens physical networking appliances by generating, storing, and authenticating cryptographic keys. Hardware-based security mechanisms protect against malicious software and phishing attacks.

Access Layer Security

FortiLink protocol enables you to converge security and network access by integrating the FortiSwitch into the FortiGate as a logical extension of the firewall. These FortiLink-enabled ports can be reconfigured as regular ports as needed.

Signed Firmware Hardware Switch

The signed firmware switch is a physical security switch. It is set to the highest security level by default. The highest security level ensures that only an appropriately validated FortiOS firmware can be loaded on the FortiGate. This feature adds an additional physical layer of security to the FortiGate, acting as a key deterrent to and reducing risk of compromise.

FortiGate Cloud is a SaaS service offering simplified management, security analytics, and reporting for Fortinet FortiGate NGFWs to help you more efficiently manage your devices and reduce cyber risk.
