Ashton Bentley VX USB-C & HDMI Video & Audio Extender Kit-UK Power

Extend your transmission of HDMI DCI/UHD 4K60 video signals as well as USB-C device communication up to 100' using the VX USB-C/HDMI Video & Audio Extender Kit from Ashton Bentley. The kit includes a transmitter, receiver, and one power supply for the receiver. The two compact units fit easily into your A/V environment in a classroom, conference room, or event space.

How It Works

The transmitter inputs HDMI and USB-C signals and sends them via Cat 7/6a cable up to 100' to the receiver. The receiver accepts all the passthrough signals via its RJ45 input and sends them out via its HDMI and USB outputs. The receiver is powered using the included power adapter, and it supplies power to the transmitter via PoC (Power over Cable).

VXT Transmitter

* 2:1 switcher with HDMI and USB-C inputs
* Supports video resolutions up to UHD/DCI 4K50/60 4:4:4
* Bidirectional RS-232 passthrough
* Remotely powered from the VXR via the Cat 6a/7 cable

* ABNET port allows connection of an optional Ashton Bentley Tablebox with touch panel to switch inputs

VXR Receiver

* Single HDMI output with embedded audio from either the USB-C or HDMI connections at the VXT
* AUX HDMI input, allowing the connection of a video conferencing system or a presentation device. NOTE: this AUX input cannot be selected if there is a source connected to the VXT. Removing all sources from the VXT will result in the VXR automatically switching to the AUX input
* Bidirectional RS-232 passthrough provides connectivity to the VXT for third-party devices

* Stereo analog audio output switched with the video signal to allow the connection of an amplifier and speakers

System Info

* The VXT transmitter is installed under a table, in a lectern, or wherever connection to laptops is required
* The VXR receiver is placed near your Video Bar/VC equipment or display/projector
* The two boxes are linked with a single Cat 6a/7 cable, which can be up to 100'
* A 32.8' interconnect cable is included as standard
