Verkada AD33 Multi-format Card Reader

The AD33 is a multi-form factor card reader that brings reliability, security and an intuitive end user experience to hard wired access control installations. Revamped with state of the art hardware, the AD33 is designed to support a growing portfolio of access control software features. The AD33 is IP65 and IK08 rated and is built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions like extended direct sunlight exposure, extreme temperatures and excessive rainfall. The AD33 leverages Verkada’s OSDP based protocol and an RS-485 connection with the access control unit to provide industry-leading access control security.

The AD33 also offers a host of features custom built for end users and building aesthetics. The AD33’s ten indicator and feedback LEDs clearly display the status of any badge events to the end user while also supporting a sleek, modern badging experience. The unit also ships with both a mullion mount plate and a single gang mount plate to support installations on multiple surfaces and spaces.

  • Red status and pulsing feedback LEDs display when a lockdown scenario or event has been triggered in Verkada Command, and the that door cannot be unlocked

  • LEDs provide information on the real-time connection status between the reader and the controller
  • AD33 unit ships with five feet of wiring attached to the reader – allowing easy and simple installation and wiring
